Cape May County - To the person stating cape may county employees should get 27 pays. I have educated myself, they were paid for 27 pays a few years ago around 2015 .It cost the taxpayers well over a million dollars. Approx every 10 years, a bi weekly pay has a 27 pay year. Some like the federal government withhold money each pay in order to pay the extra time. Not the county ,They charge the taxpayers . Maybe the Herald will investigate for us to clarify.
