Cape May County - North Cape May Spouter. You make an excellent point about rebuilding the Route 9 Bridge so we have a second evacuation route. I have no information to make a cost comparison, I’m sure both would be very expensive, but I believe that your suggestion would be both cheaper and faster, with fewer lawsuits, and unlike extending Route 55, would not be an ecological disaster, and uproot communities and businesses. I also believe that route 9, both lanes north might provide more opportunity for shelter along the way if a storm developed faster than expected. Just my humble opinion. TY for reading.
