Cape May County - It's time to call for the county chief's association to remove those large badges suction cupped to the windshields of numerous vehicles throughout the county. The sole purpose for displaying a badge in a car windshield allows the driver to break traffic laws the rest of us are accountable for. Cars with badges speed excessively, make left-hand turns where prohibited, park in fire zones, use cell phones when driving, and basically exempt themselves from all title 39 laws. How do these officers ticket people with a clear conscious when they and their family members don't follow the laws?
