Cape May County - I was reading recently that another consequence of heavy electric vehicles is that current guardrail standards can’t contain them in case of accident as they did when cars were lighter. Gassers aren’t off the hook, taller vehicles go over the top depending on speed. It all depends on weight and where it’s concentrated. Batteries are heavy, and mounted low. Will every guardrail in America now need to be replaced? This is looking more and more like a home improvement project using the “while we’re at it” method favored by those with no plan. Fail to plan? Plan to fail. I never saw a plan. You?
