I am a mail carrier and have been on a route for six years, and have people on welfare since I have been there and still going. As I was handing a man his mail with two checks from Social Services recently, he asked me to hold his mail for a week while his family went on vacation. I wanted to ask him how he could afford that, but knew I couldn't. Did I mention the cigarettes that they can afford to smoke? Something is very wrong with the system.
