Cape May County - I think we can solve all the electrical overload issues in the future with more electric cars. If all the islands are electric vehicle only, it will expose all the inherent weaknesses in our electrical grid so it all can be fixed. While the power is out, all those vehicles can be hooked up into each home so the electric vehicle owner gets the additional benefit of powering their home when power goes out. Should only cost a few thousand dollars to hook up to power a home and if combined with charger installation maybe 5K. So with a new electric vehicle, all in for $60-80 thousand. Cheap no?
