Cape May County - I don't know which aspect of the recent letter saddens me more: The writer crying in bed all day over the election or her out-of-hand dismissal of explanations other than race & gender. Need I remind her that the presidential popular vote was won by a woman in 2016 and by a Black man twice? I'm sorry to add to her distress, but obstinately refusing to look at our party's mistakes and instead blaming voters is intellectual laziness and a roadmap for failure.
