I don’t understand why county dispatchers need to be rewarded on

Cape May County - I don’t understand why county dispatchers need to be rewarded on doing their job for a maternity. That’s what they get paid for! Other dispatchers from major cities deal with way worse, even atlantic city for instance such as homicides, etc. a person giving birth when calling 911 is nothing, when’s the last time county dispatch did a homicide call? years?? I get that it’s a difficult job or what not, but our law enforcement are the real ones who have to visually observe, and see/smell/touch the horrific situations. dispatchers just have to answer the telephone.
