Cape May County - Driving home at dusk a couple of weeks ago, I noticed a candidate who did not win reclaiming their election signs. It was a sad moment even though the candidate I supported won. Running for office is hard work on every level, even emotionally. Endless hours are spent to support their candidacy not only by the candidate, family, and friends but also by supporters. It's never fun to not win. We are lucky to have so many good people stand up to take on what is a seemingly thankless task - pleasing the people. Thanks to everyone throwing their hat into the ring and those who serve.
