Can we steer away from politics for a moment and turn to our pet

Cape May County - Can we steer away from politics for a moment and turn to our pets please? It's summer, I ask, please to remember fresh water, shelter from the sun, a fan if you can and some love. Our dogs feel pain and heat just like all of us. Please take a moment and think of them. Some folks say, "Oh, they are outside dogs". Maybe so, but they get hot also! Please have some compassion and keep them cool. Also please remember, if you can't put your hand on the cement/asphalt for 5 seconds, it's too hot for your dogs pads/feet. Please keep these things in mind, have a great summer!
