Cape May County - Can we all agree that it's time to put the religious nonsense behind us? The idea that some entity consciously designed all that we see around us, from the cosmos down to the subatomic level, is absurd. A god's existence is not required for one to lead a good, moral life. The threat of eternity in hell is not required to prevent one from doing wrong, nor is promise of everlasting life necessary to lead a good life. These are choices one makes about how they are going to lead their lives. Religion is now being inserted into politics and into our government and is holding us back.
