Cape May County

Unfortunately The decision of the Cape May County commissioners to fire the drba at the airport costs substantially more than $32 million. That amount only looks backward. You also need to consider that the drba subsidizes the airports operating loss each year of nearly a million dollars. That's another 20 to 25 million of taxpayer money. Additionally, The airport required $30 million + in capital improvement over the last 25 years. Can the commissioner director explain why the county is walking away from over $80 million in free money that will now have to be paid by our taxpayers?
