The UAW, negotiate with the big 3 automakers & got their members a 25percent increase over 4 years. With that being said, AFSCME, who represents county employees negotiate 4.5percent. Also,UAW,got their members a COLA increase. Why didn't AFSCME get their members a COLA increase? County gives increases to upper management & friends that they hire. Seems as,if the working employees are not rewarded for their work only the higher ups. New blood is needed on the board.
