Insulin dependent or type one diabetes is an autoimmune disease which is often diagnosed in early adolescence. It has nothing to do with obesity. Type two diabetes is insulin resistance, and while obesity can make someone higher risk for developing the disease; it’s not always the case. Regardless diabetes patients must be treated and need insulin to live. Educate yourself before making proclamations regarding the health of others.
