Cape May County should not be turned into Philadelphia south just because people want to move here. Relentless residential development is destroying everything that was nice about this county. People may want to live here but they don’t need to live here anymore than people “need” to live in the Florida Keys. Should every square inch of the Keys be developed to accommodate those that want to live there? Of course not. The same is true here. We can’t afford to lose any more land to development. Planning and zoning boards need to deny all future building permits for undeveloped land.
