Cape May County residents deserve transparency and fairness. The County has moved quickly to hire a commissioner into a county position at a salary of $115,000 yet union employees are still waiting for progress on their contracts. Our workforce shows up every day, serves this community, & deserves to be treated with respect and urgency. Delays in contract negotiations send the wrong message to the very people who keep this county running. It’s time for Kevin Lare to prioritize its employees & come to the table in good faith.
