Public officials either local or National a should never leave themselves open to speculation. Tell us what’s being done, tell us why it’s being done, tell us how much it’s going to cost, and open the books. Why do we have to legally fight every inch of the way to access records we all pay for and own? Political battles, vendettas and the ensuing games they entail, must be paid for with personal, not taxpayer accountability. Those with skin in the game tend not to be reckless.
