The Herald featured a letter to the editor whereby the writer said that she "didn't want to hear excuses why Harris lost" and then proceeded to give her own, and a very lame one at that. She says Harris lost due to her race & ethnicity. No, she lost because she was a poor candidate with no deviation from the unpopular policies of the administration in which she serves. Not only is the writer tone deaf, but the hypocrisy of "not wanting to hear excuses" then basing her whole letter on one is quite rich indeed. She wrote that she spent the day in bed crying. Why am I not surprised by that?
