In the early 70's I was in the Navy stationed in Norfolk and I am White! I had a fellow shipmate/friend who was Black and his family was from Roanoke. So one weekend day on Liberty he asked me if I'd drive him to his home town to suprise his family and he'd pay for gas. I agreed and it was a good day to get away so about 4+ hours later we arrived at his home. His Father and Mother asked him why the HELL did they bring a white boy home with him and I wasn't allowed to stay. Point here is, Don't EVER say Racism isn't reversed. I drove back, he took a bus, he never appologized. I was used.
