Being a long time resident of Cape May County, I’m glad to have a job with working in the County Government. It’s frustrating to see jobs given as political favors. It is especially difficult when you witness good long time employees leaving because of politics in hiring in their departments. It’s disheartening when Dept heads favor the political hires and ignore the dedicated long time employees. This is the case with the Facilities Dept. The Herald Spout off is often the only way to get a message to the County Commissioners. Commissioners please review this situation.
