Attended the memorial service this morning in Avalon. Two observations, one, lots of boomers there in attendance, some with grandchildren. Virtually no one there from let’s say 18 to 35 or 40 years old. The generation that has no idea what the the holiday is actually about. And two, the missing persons were in traffic out on the boulevard and beyond rushing to get home to their barbecue or party for the holiday. Says a lot about who this generation or two is all about. THEMSELVES!
