In the article about 2nd homeowners getting a right to vote it states that “Only Ocean City, Sea Isle City, and Avalon have municipal elections on a date other than the first Tuesday in November.” Can someone tell me why these towns are wasting taxpayers money running these “special” elections and not just having theirs in November? Most are uncontested and are a big cost. These three elections are paid by county taxes which are getting high and higher every year. Let start cutting the wasted spending on these elections.
