The Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel is a wonderful feat. You get across in no time, open 24 hours, don't have to worry about the weather, and the cost is right. Something like that should have been built years ago in our area. Look at all the money spent for new boats, refurbishing/maintenance costs, and care of the facility. Costs are high for the ferry and operational hours are limited. The view? You can get that on the bridge/tunnel, too!
