Cape May

Cape May continually replenishes the beaches (attempts to push back the ocean) with no regard for the consequences. It has ruined the swimming, most importantly, the neck injuries, the surfing and fishing. It's been said this year the neck injuries are down but the only reason is there has not been any waves. Who do you think you are kidding? It is totally ridiculous. People break their necks, get paralyzed and Cape May continues on with the sand project. Would you rather have your house flooded or have someone paralyzed?

Moderator's Note: The city does not conduct beach replenishment. The Army Corps of Engineers undertakes the projects as part of a 50-year agreement.
