Cape May Beach - When I visited the 1964 World's Fair in NY, and went to the popular GM exhibit, the theme was "the future." It said how things would be less stressful, more recreational and people would lead a more fulfilling life. Two generations later and nothing could be further from the truth. Instead, the book 1984 by G. Orwell forecasted the future better. Big brother watching, people reacting like robots with little human feeling, stress everywhere and expensive tech toys for adults that have meaning because they are the latest. Billions in technology and three weeks unable to find a plane.
