The manager has announced the privatization of the animal control duties within the township at the latest Jan. 6 meeting. Everyone was holding their breath for the latest move to save money. This was a high priority in the current administration that would save thousands in taxes for the taxpayers. The manager attempted to justify the earth shattering news by saying that X amount of gas would be saved, etc. The best part was that there was an escape clause within 90 days if the private company doesn't perform. Wow! What a move by L.T. government.
