The former president, undoubtedly severely mentally diminished by rapidly declining cognitive ability that was evident even before he took office and hidden until the debate, unwittingly pointed out to the incoming administration and new USAG exactly where they should look to investigate possible and probable criminality. Those pardons did those who got them no favors, a fact they will sadly realize soon. If innocent? Why?
