Cape May / Avalon - While dining on the deck of a Cape May restaurant my family was viciously attacked by several gulls despite being under a large umbrella. All evening long we witnessed other customers being attacked. The restaurant owner said he would not put up protective netting because of the animal-rights crazies. This is a serious threat to the health and well-being of humans living in and visiting Cape May County. Does the county even have a health department? These restaurants should be forced to protect their customers' health and safety or be shut down until they do.
