Avalon spouter on the Cat issue; Let me be clear! Cats are not the only thing that eats rodents! Snakes, Owls, many bird raptors, Coyotes, Raccoons and other animals. About a cat being fed so it won't hunt and kill is a farce! It's been proven over and over. I'm not going to argue with you because you obviously LOVE these cats, so WHY don't you take ALL of them into your home! You're wrong, and there is SCIENCE to prove it. Not only that, but by harboring these cats, people SEE these cats being taken care of, so it's easier for them to be dumped, you are not doing them justice.
