As per the article in The Herald about trying to make sense of the high electric bills, this is no mystery. Look around you! The barrier islands are overbuilt and overpopulated and it is getting worse! Every square foot in my town of Cape May is occupied by Mega Mansions that require two and sometimes three HVAC systems and the many condos are a huge drain on the grid as well. West Cape May, the Point, North Cape May, Town Bank and Villas are doing the same thing. Greed and poor planning by city officials are to blame too. "Tighten your belts" folks! They are coming for your wallets!
