Although the opinion in an editorial in a daily paper offers questionable arguments supporting self-serve gas, the reality is Senator Sweeney, our most likely next governor in two years, will not allow this bill up for a vote, and wouldn't sign it as governor. His real concern as a Democrat would be job losses, especially in South Jersey, an area already in severe economic decline, which Sweeney represents.
