According to the Daily Voice, a man illegally discharged shotgun round which caused the 350 acres Jackson Township wildfire. This resulted in the evacuation of 15 homes and put 25 structures in danger. The fire required numerous resources and people on the ground to get it under control. So why isn't the person who discharged the round charged with arson which carries a higher penalty than discharging the weapon??
