Campaign promises: wars will end, no new wars will begin, there will be no regime change, stronger job market, all manufacturing will be done here, grocery prices will go down, rule of law applies to everyone. Presidential reality: new wars begun, no wars ended, regime changes, grocery prices soaring, no rule of law for the wealthy, loss of longtime allies, division between Americans, becoming the laughingstock of the world, plans begun that have no end. Is the slogan still “Promises made, Promises kept”? It sure doesn’t seem that way.
