By definition, some Social Security recipients are going to be in the top 5% in terms of money received every month. They paid in means they paid a cubic manureload of Fica since what 1978. Now some Gen (I can't believe it's X) wants to trim their benefits back to the same of that received by someone who only paid in say 75% of a cubic load of Fica since 1978.
