Beach replenishment is another word for maintenance. Folks say nature takes it back and it's a waste of money. We maintain the boardwalk, nature would rot the wood and rust the metal without maintenance. If the shore towns don't take care of the beaches and they go away so will the shore economy. I know it's expensive but without a beach there is no beach towns. Just my opinion, I may be wrong and anyone can disagree.
