Avalon - Is a Wildwood spouter serious about opening detox centers? Jail is the best place for addicts to have to go cold turkey. Why do addicts and some of their families want us to feel sorry for them? They are responsible for their own addictions. They are a drain on taxpayer resources and a constant source of related criminal activity, like burglaries and thefts. I don't feel sorry for them, and I don't want to spend my money on them short of warehousing them somewhere away from decent society.
