Why would anyone be surprised at the huge, ugly utility poles do

Avalon - Why would anyone be surprised at the huge, ugly utility poles dominating Avalon? The whole town has changed. Monstrous houses taking up every square foot of space, construction every other block beginning at 7 a.m., condos above high-end stores lining the main street, charming, family-owned businesses being replaced, a whole different breed of vacationing families; rude, pushy, "entitled." We miss the "old" Avalon and it will never be again. Time to find another shore town.
