Where is this renewable energy?

Avalon - Where is this renewable energy? Let’s face it; if the existing renewable energy was efficient enough and cost-effective, we would be using it already. I’m not against it, but it isn’t ready for prime time. Consider the buggy whip. The government didn’t shut down that industry, hoping that someone would invent the automobile. That industry disappeared because better technology came about. Invest in better technology? Sure, but don’t shut off the current technology before we’ve developed a reasonable alternative.
