Avalon - Where are the Audubon bird people when it comes to beach raking? Avalon, Sea Isle and others in Cape May County rake the beaches with heavy equipment, destroying life on the beach. Leave the sand alone. If you want to do something positive, give out huge fines for anyone who leaves trash on the beach. The nature beach was here long before those who dump their trash on the sand.
