Avalon - When Senator Mitch McConnell and his fellow congressional Republicans promote Keystone XL as a job creator, they confirm once again their status as masters of hypocrisy. Obama proposed an infrastructure repair and rebuilding program more than a year ago that would have created many more jobs than Keystone XL. Republicans could have supported it and helped create thousands of jobs, but instead they voted it down because it was an Obama administration proposal. Just part of their "standard operating procedure" of opposing virtually everything the Obama administration has tried to do.
