Avalon - When has it become acceptable to fly torn and battered American flags here in Avalon? One resident has destroyed two flags in one year and continues to fly them in their battered condition. Do us all a favor, take it down and burn your flag pole. Maybe by doing this you make your children understand what the flag means to our veterans!
