What is so hard about following the rules?

Avalon - What is so hard about following the rules? It seems that every problem we have in this country is because someone can't or won't follow the rules. They won't lead honest, moral lives, they won't value hard work if there is easy money to be made, they won't tell the truth, etc. Being honest, hardworking, sharing and being respectful has gone out of style. Those of us who work hard see more and more of our tax money wasted on the welfare state, and cheating politicians and their political cronies. No one said that life was going to be easy and that everyone should get everything they want.
