Avalon - Trump's campaign team and his supporters try to equate Trump's refusal to say he'll accept the election results with Gore's experience in 2000. The attempt is ill-informed and pathetic, reflecting the desperate nature of Trump's campaign. The most important difference between Trump and Gore is that at no time before election day did Gore say that he might not accept the election day results. Gore's challenge on election day was based not on unfounded suspicions of voter fraud, as is the case with Trump, but on Florida's knife-edge-thin vote result, which by state law mandated a recount.
