He knows full well there are a number of reasons the indictments took this long, not the least of which is the fact that he and his allies stonewalled, refused to cooperate, from the very beginning. And guess what? If indictments had been filed earlier, Trump would have claimed that authorities were rushing to judgement without the facts or proper evidence. He might even have labeled them "witch hunts".
