Avalon - Trash collection continues to be a major problem in Avalon, a premier town on the Jersey Shore. As one spouter recently said, the weekend residents put the trash out early and the streets are a mess. The cans often are not returned to the right yards ; with a duplex they often return cans to the wrong unit. Change to a sanitary system in which cans are picked up from and returned to their designated spot by the trash collectors. With COVID-19 we worry about face masks but leave possibly infected trash to be scattered about by wind or seagulls!
