Avalon - Is there monitoring of beach activity? Don’t have an ordinance if they aren't going to enforce it. There are a number of vehicles on the beach without a beach permit, specifically north of the fishing pier. There also are numerous dogs on the beach at all times of the day, even though it is clearly posted that no dogs are allowed on the beach until Oct. 1.
