Avalon - Teaching at Rutgers shouldn't be a McJob. Seven courses taught is a full load and, at $5800 each, that totals about $40,600 a year. The equivalent of a little more than $20 per hour for many of the adjuncts. Me? I'm with the students wondering where all that tuition goes.
