Avalon - State Senate President Sweeney says that two north Jersey casinos will help Atlantic City redevelop and are the right thing to do for the whole state. I disagree. Relying on casinos to revitalize Atlantic City and to address society's needs is an admission of failure on the part of government and our society. A casino resort in Jersey City is projected to cost up to $5 billion to develop. That's sheer insanity.
