Avalon - The shooting at Umpqua College is the 45th shooting at schools in the U.S. this year. Rather than working to prevent madmen from committing such atrocities, the NRA is pushing for guns in schools that would (theoretically) prevent these mass murders. But there's no guarantee that those "protectors" with guns might not "lose it" and open fire, or that they would be overpowered by students or others who would use their guns to kill people. The NRA prefers to risk more shootings, rather than preventing them. That's immoral.
