Avalon - Residents need to educate themselves. We need no local regulations in Avalon. Violations of Azek and fiberglass installation with carcinogens, strong vapor and no hepa vacuums while cutting can be reported. Plus, the fiberglass fumes, dust fibers and residue on grounds cause a concern. Call OHSA field office in Mt. Laurel. Provide location and builder, and a field investigator will be assigned to investigate the violation. Residue from Azek is carried to sewers, affecting our waterways and marine life. Call the EPA. They, too, will assign field representatives to investigate. There are laws to protect all.
